Post Conference Tour

1st – 8th June 2009

Due to a few requests and the proximity of Egypt to Cyprus, we have arranged a fully-escorted post-conference tour of Egypt. The tour group needs to be a minimum of 10 guests but only a maximum of 15 guests may attend so be sure to book this tour early to ensure a place.

The tour is 5-star and includes a 4-night Nile cruise and stops at all the major sites.

See: Pyramids, Sphinx, Cairo museum (inc. riches of kind Tutankhamun), Al Khalil Souk (market Cairo), Nile Cruise, Temple of Karnak & Luxor, Necropolis of Thebes, Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memon, Edfu and Temple of Horous, Kom Ombo, Aswan, Aswan Dam, the Temple of Philae and a felucca sailing trip to Elephantine island.


Itinerary

01 June Gathering at Larnaca airport for check-in. Arrival in Cairo International airport and after passing through passport formalities and obtaining entry visa, proceed for the Domestic Terminal. Arrival in Luxor and transfer to hotel for overnight.

02 June After breakfast and hotel checkout the group will be transferred to their Nile Cruiser. After check-in they will meet with their guide and be informed of the whole cruise program. Land excursion start that same afternoon.

02 – 06 June Nile Cruise with frequent stops for land excursions that include: Temple of Karnak and Luxor, West Bank (Necropolis of Thebes), Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memon. Crossing the Esna Lock there will be visits of Edfu, and its Temple of Horous, a stop at Kom Ombo and end in Aswan. The visits of Aswan include: the High Dam of Aswan, the Temple of Philae and a Felucca sailing trip by the Elephantine Island.

06 June At the end of the Nile cruise the group will be transferred at the Aswan airport for their flight to Cairo. Arrival at Cairo and transfer to hotel. Free afternoon*. Overnight.

07 June Full day excursion of Cairo, including the Pyramids, the Sphinx, the Cairo Museum and the Al Khalil Souk (market).

08 June Free morning. Early afternoon departure for Cairo airport. Arrival in Larnaca. End of services.

Package Includes

  1. Air-tickets (both International and Domestic)
  2. All airport taxes and ticket service fees
  3. Meet & Assist on all arrivals and departures
  4. All transfers in AC vehicles
  5. Accommodations in standard 5 star hotels in Luxor (1 night) and Cairo (2 nights) on BB basis and in a standard 5 star Nile Cruiser (4 nights) on Full Board (drinks are paid extra).
  6. All land excursions with entrances and English speaking guide during the Nile cruise
  7. One full day excursion of Cairo as described above (no meals)
  8. Escort from Cyprus throughout the trip

  1. Entry visa for Egypt
  2. Anything not mentioned in the above program

In order to proceed with a reservation we will need the following

  1. Full names and surnames as per passports.
  2. Nationalities of passengers
  3. Payment

Kindly note that in case the Cyprus and/ or the Egyptian Government impose or increase any Tax (i.e. airport, road or hotel taxes) that affects the cost of the package, we will have to implement it even after reservation is made.
