Follow the DNA footprints from ancient times, to the calling cards left by unsavoury characters and signatures left by unfriendly cells, explore the intricate bond between mother and child and then be submerged in the avalanche of DNA code, analyse a collection of tools to navigate and map out the key elements to understand what makes us who we are.....
This meeting allows ample time for open discussion on key topics in the field of human molecular diagnostics. We encourage you to bring your questions and ideas to share with a like-minded audience.
The focus of this meeting is methods, genome sequencing - detecting variants one-by-one or genome-wide, cancer gene analysis & diagnostic applications. Topics will start from sample preparation, where we have special presentations focusing on using ancient DNA and highly compromised samples to tell about past events, to capturing DNA from rare cells within a genome to tell about new growths, to analysing genes, exomes and genomes to determine what is normal variation and what can lead to clinical disease.
This is a workshop style meeting with key discussion periods to allow a more detailed, warts-and-all analyses of genome technology, as well as discussion about standardization of the workflow process for service delivery though the outcomes of an international QAP program.
If you want to know how much genome technology has matured in clinical service delivery over the last decade, you cannot miss this meeting!
